Another life for cat Cheetah

19 Sep

Right! Time to bring you some more news and stories from the animal world! Today I want to share Cheetah’s story- a stray ginger tom cat who’s life was saved by the RSPCA after he was run over and left to die on the side of a road.

Cheetah’s leg was completely crushed by a car and it was several days before he was found dragging his broken leg, and taken to the RSPCA hospital in Putney. Unfortunately nothing could be done to help Cheetah’s leg so it had to be removed.

But there is a happy ending! Cheetah has since learnt to walk on three legs and is becoming more confident by the day. A loving new home has been found for him when he is given the all-clear from the RSPCA’s Southall Cattery. It’s great to hear he is doing well! Things could’ve been very different for Cheetah if nobody had found him on that road.

You can read more about Cheetah’s story and watch a video of him in action right here: http://blogs.rspca.org.uk/insights/2013/09/16/animalhospitals-perform-life-saving-operations/#.UjpcKzZwZLM
